'Trump will win', says professor who has predicted 30 years of presidential outcomes correctly (Video)

Professor Allan Lichtman, a distinguished professor of history at American University, Washington D.C, has correctly predicted the winner of every U.S presidential election since 1984 and has now said he is certain that Republican candidate Donald Trump will win the November 8 election and also explained how he came to the decision...

According to Lichtman, his prediction isn't based on horse-race polls, shifting demographics or his own political opinions but he uses a system of true/false statements he calls the "Keys to the White House" to determine who will win the election and it's always worked since 1984.

The keys to the White House, which are explained in depth in Lichtman’s book “Predicting the Next President” are:

1. Party Mandate: After the midterm elections, the incumbent party holds more seats in the U.S. House of Representatives than after the previous midterm elections.
2. Contest: There is no serious contest for the incumbent party nomination.

3. Incumbency: The incumbent party candidate is the sitting president.

4. Third party: There is no significant third party or independent campaign.
5. Short-term economy: The economy is not in recession during the election campaign.

6. Long-term economy: Real per capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms.

7. Policy change: The incumbent administration effects major changes in national policy.

8. Social unrest: There is no sustained social unrest during the term.

9. Scandal: The incumbent administration is untainted by major scandal.

10. Foreign/military failure: The incumbent administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs.

11. Foreign/military success: The incumbent administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs.

12. Incumbent charisma: The incumbent party candidate is charismatic or a national hero.

13. Challenger charisma: The challenging party candidate is not charismatic or a national hero.

Thugs and land grabbers invade monarch’s house, kill his 29 year old son

Prince Jamiu Olipede (pictured), the 29 year old son of the Oba Musliu Olipede Olojoruwa, the Olorile of Itori Oke Egba Land at Federal Housing Authority, FHA, Alagbado area of Lagos, was killed by some thugs and land grabbers who invaded his home. PM news reports that deceased was killed over a landed property in the area where his house was built on.

Narrating how his son died, the monarch said that the thugs and land grabbers had on the day of the incident, invaded the house where he was living and ordered him to vacate the property as they have won a case in court against the FHA over the land. The monarch said his son was asked by the thugs to accompany them to the office of one Opeyemi and that he agreed.
“When they got to Opeyemi’s office, they met one Bayo Oladejo who has been terrorizing them in the estate and he told them that even though they won the case against FHA as they claimed, they did not show him any document to that effect and that they should tell him how much to pay for ratification. They said they would be back on Saturday but Bayo Oladejo insisted that they should park out or he will kill him and his son. I told them to tell me how much to pay for ratification since they are claiming to have won a case against the FHA who sold the land to us I did not argue with them. At about 11pm on Wednesday, Bayo Oladejo led Pastor Anjorin, Shola Oyeloye a.k.a Sholebo, Bature, Kosoko Saheed and other thugs to Jamiu Olipede’s house. He was called out and shot but the bullet did not penetrate so they used cutlass to machete him severally and killed him on the spot” he explained.
A victim of the suspected land grabbers, Salami Ayodele, who narrated his own experience, said the thugs led by one Pastor Anjorin came to his house and ordered him to park out with the excuse that they had won a case against the FHA without showing him any evidence and that he refused to park.
“Pastor Anjorin went ahead and remove the pumping machine in his compound and also disconnected the electricity supply to the house which made him to call the DPO of Alagbado Police station. The DPO ask them to come to his office and on getting there, Pastor Anjorin could not provide any court document which the DPO asked him to and bring”.

"If we have to sell our national assets to fund the 2016 budget;then we have to sell our coat of arms, national flags and anthem to fund the 2017 budget;as for the 2018 budget, the nation move from recession to receivership ,then we auction the whole territorial land mass of our country to the Bourgeoisie class to raise cash;then we all live on tenancy. This is what our 'lumpen capitalists' want."

It's that bad? They say Angelina Jolie has blocked all of Brad Pitt's incoming calls and text messages

According to a report by Us Weekly, Angelina Jolie has blocked Brad Pitt's phone number on her phone, after she filed for divorce from him earlier this week. Us Weekly reports below...
Cutting all ties. Angelina Jolie took extreme measures to sever lines of communication with her estranged husband, Brad Pitt, after filing for divorce, a source tells Us Weekly. “Angelina has blocked all incoming text messages and also Brad’s numbers,” the insider tells Us.

Jolie, 41, made headlines on Monday, September 19, when she filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, after two years of marriage, ending their 12-year relationship.
A source close to the Allied actor told Us that Pitt was “blindsided” by Jolie’s filing.  “He is beside himself and has been crying,” the source said. “He was completely caught off-guard and blindsided and had no idea she would do this. Angelina filed the court papers a minute before the courts closed on Monday night. He didn’t have a lawyer or anything. She had threatened divorce in the past but he did not think she would file this time.”

Celebrating Nigezie at ten at freedeom fest

Nigeria's premiere music and lifestyle channel, Nigezie - Xtremely Nigerian, officially clocks 10 years on the first of October, 2016. This makes it not only Nigeria's first indigenous music channel, but also Nigeria's oldest indigenous daily music television platform. This has made it into a springboard for many of today's top music acts as well as many other talented individuals from within and outside Nigeria.

The Nigezie brand has over the years also evolved and leveraged on its potential for entertainment, youth engagement and consequently widened its area of influence across new traditional and social media brands, creating new channels across these various platforms from just one TV channel on a single DTH platform ten years ago and connecting with millions of young people within and outside Nigeria.

To mark our epoch making 10th Anniversary, we have lined up a series of initiatives and activations that are designed to deepen the bond between the brand and its target market, increase our level of engagement within the youth segment, reward loyal fans that have stayed with us over the years and recruit a whole new generation of teens and twenties who might have been too young to fully comprehend the possibilities and opportunities that have existed on the Nigezie brand in the last ten years.

INTRODUCING: FREEDOM FEST
The young person, in Africa generally and in Nigeria particularly, has always been at a disadvantage when it comes to self expression and share of voice in the public space. This has led to years of suppression and oppression especially within traditional media platforms.
Technology and the numerous devices and softwares that power it, have more than at any other time in the history of mankind, empowered young people to do be, reach more people, communicate more effectively with others, achieve higher levels of success and generally be better than who they currently are.

FREEDOM FEST is a youth oriented music brand, created to celebrate the new found freedom of expression that young people currently enjoy, on an annual basis. It is also designed to serve as a reminder of how far they have come and a motivation for the long journey, filled with unending possibilities that still lie ahead. This event is in association with the One Lagos brand.

#NIGEZIEATTENCONCERT
The theme for the first edition of Freedom Fest is #NigezieAtTen. No doubt the Nigezie - Xtremely Nigerian brand, has lived up to its name and mantra. Courage, Tenacity and Vision are the basic elements which we have identified as key factors that make up a phenomenon we have tagged "Spirit of the Nigerian". We have, in the past decade represented the "never say die" attitude of the Nigerian youth in Nigeria and in the Diaspora.

The major objective of the concert is to entertain the fans, not treat them with the usual disrespect and disdain that most event organizers subject them to on a regular basis. Everything from the ticket pricing, to sales outlets, artiste lineup, security and safety measures is designed to ensure that they have a rewarding and pleasant experience.
The artiste lineup for the event will reflect a cross-section of the major acts that have stood out in the dominant music genres in Nigeria, in the past ten years. It will be an eclectic mix of all the usual suspects; pop, hip hop, R'n'B, dance hall, Afro beat, fuji, juju, high life and then some other African genres that made an impact on the Nigerian music space and the minds of the general public, in the past decade.

VENUE
Venue is the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos. This venue was specifically selected to ensure safety, easy accessibility and crowd control as well as maximum audience participation by our core target market.

DATE
Saturday 29th of October, 2016, from 12 noon.

SECURITY/CROWD CONTROL
Due to our partnership with the One Lagos brand, security and crowd control measures will be top notch, to match the size and scale of the concert. There will be a combined security and crowd/traffic management team made up of The Nigeria Police Force, private security outfits, LASTMA, LASAMBUS, LAGBUS, FRSC. All these organizations will create different layers of security and human/vehicular movement templates and initiatives.
There will also be different color coded, glow in the dark wrist bands that will facilitate access to different designated sitting or standing areas by the fans and very conspicuous, color coded Identity Tags for production and event crews, band members, artiste and management team, security personnel, media personnel and sponsors/media partners. There are designated car parks and a shuttle service to and from the venue.

PUBLICITY
This is about deploying a combination of tested and trusted traditional and social media platforms, in order to deliver a 360 degree media saturation strategy and a near 100 percent public awareness.
